About Us
Originally built in 1880, The Pub has been a staple in Kent for over one hundred years. The Lindsey family purchased the bar in 1976 and have been running it ever since. Today, under the ownership of Becky Lindsey, we're proud to carry on that tradition and look forward to the next 50 years on the 400 block of Franklin Ave.
Located at 401 Franklin Ave, we're more than just a bar. We're a community hub where stories are shared and memories are made. Whether you're a Kent local, a Kent State student, or just passing through, you'll find a warm welcome, friendly faces, and a cold drink waiting for you.
We're a casual, laid-back hangout with a great patio, and standout bartenders, plus pool, darts, and good vibes all round.
Come as a stranger. Leave as a regular.
